About Damara

Damara Chaudhuri is an accomplished musician based in Florida with over eight years of professional experience playing the harp. She graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in business and music, where she was the principal harpist for the university’s orchestra and wind ensemble. She was honored to study under Dolly Roberts, a prestigious harpist based in the Tampa area. Damara has traveled all over the United States performing her harp in solo, duet, and orchestral achievements. She recently performed The Planets by Gustav Holst in the Imperial Symphony Orchestra of Lakeland and South Pacific by Rodgers and Hammerstein at Florida College. Damara is also a professional “Geek Harpist,” performing video game, movie, and medieval compositions to audiences across the country. She can currently be seen (and heard!) performing at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL, where she is the resident harpist.
